Padel4Parkinsons is a community programme run largely by volunteers, with heavily subsidised sessions for people living with Parkinson's. Every contribution, whether it's time, money, or a word to the right person, helps us keep sessions affordable and reach more people who could benefit.

Here's how you can help.

Donate

Every donation goes directly towards court hire, coaching, equipment, and keeping session costs affordable for players. Donations are processed through Parkinson's UK using our dedicated reference number, which means Gift Aid can be claimed on qualifying donations at no extra cost to you.

How Gift Aid makes your donation go further

If you're a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid adds 25p to every £1 you donate at no cost to you. A £10 donation becomes £12.50.

If you're a higher rate taxpayer, you can also claim back the difference between the basic rate and your tax rate through your self-assessment. For a £10 donation:

We receive £12.50 (your £10 plus £2.50 Gift Aid)

You can reclaim £3.13 if you pay 45% tax, so your donation costs you £6.87

If you'd like to set up a regular donation or discuss a larger gift, please get in touch at mark@padel4parkinsons.co.uk.

Fundraise for us

If you'd rather do something active than write a cheque, we'd love your help. Run a marathon, organise a bake sale, host a quiz night, or set up a Facebook birthday fundraiser. Every pound raised keeps someone on court.

We can provide logos, photos, and a short programme description to help you tell our story. Get in touch and we'll support you however we can.

Sponsor us

We're looking to partner with brands and local businesses who share our commitment to community, health, and inclusive sport. Sponsorship opportunities include session sponsorship, equipment sponsorship, branded kit, and event partnerships.

In return, sponsors get association with a genuinely newsworthy programme, logo placement on our website and social media, and the chance to reach an engaged audience across Buckinghamshire and beyond.

If you'd like to discuss how we could work together, please contact mark@padel4parkinsons.co.uk.

Volunteer

We couldn't run sessions without volunteers. Whether you're a padel player who'd like to help on court, someone with professional skills to share (marketing, design, photography, fundraising, event planning), or simply someone who wants to help out at sessions and make new players feel welcome, we'd love to hear from you.

You don't need to have Parkinson's or any prior connection to the condition. Just an interest in helping.

Get in touch at mark@padel4parkinsons.co.uk.

Collaborate with us

If you're a Parkinson's-related organisation, a healthcare provider, a padel venue, or a sport or disability charity, we're always open to conversations about how we can work together. Shared learning, joint events, co-funded projects, or simply cross-promotion all help grow the movement around padel for Parkinson's.

Contact Garry at garry@padel4parkinsons.co.uk to start a conversation.

Refer someone

If you're a GP, Parkinson's nurse, neurologist, physiotherapist, or social prescribing link worker, you're often the first person someone turns to after a diagnosis. A recommendation from you can change someone's week, and sometimes their outlook. Please pass on our details, or get in touch and we'll send you leaflets to keep in your surgery or clinic.

More ways to help

Shop with us. Every item in our shop supports the programme and helps spread the word. Browse the shop here.

Give through your workplace. Many employers match charitable donations or offer payroll giving. Ask your HR team, we'll happily provide whatever information they need.

Passive giving. Sign up to easyfundraising.org.uk and a small percentage of your online shopping goes to Padel4Parkinsons at no cost to you. You can also support us through the Buckinghamshire Lottery, where 50% of every ticket goes to your chosen cause.

Leave a gift in your will. Legacy gifts help us plan for the long term and grow the programme. If you'd like more information, please get in touch.

Share our story. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram, share our posts, and tell someone who might benefit. Word of mouth is how this programme grows.

Offer a venue

As we grow beyond Buckinghamshire, we're looking for padel venues, tennis clubs, and community facilities across the UK who might be interested in hosting a local Padel4Parkinsons group. If that's you, we'd love to talk.

Thank you!

Whatever you can offer, whether it's a donation, a few hours of your time, an introduction, or a share on social media, it makes a real difference. Thank you for being part of what we're building.
